Palestinian Heritage Trail Thru-Hike #ThruHike is a special biannual (March and November) event on the Palestinian Heritage Trail that offers hikers the experience of crossing the full length (330km) of the trail, 21 days in a row.

First Week Highlights:

Visit Burqin Church and the Ottoman Palaces of Arraba and Sanur    
Explore the ruins of the ancient city of Sebastia    
Visit the vibrant city of Nablus    
Try the famous and delicious Nabulsi kanafeh    
 

Second Week Highlights:

Walk through two natural valleys    
Experience traditional Bedouin hospitality    
Visit the fascinating cities of Jericho and Bethlehem    
Adventure in the Jerusalem wilderness    
Wadi Quelt Monastery, and Mar Saba Monastery    
Sleep in a cave    
 

Third Week Highlights:

Walk through the agricultural landscapes around Hebron    
Tour the old city of Hebron    
Learn about archaeological sites in the area    
Visit Abraham’s Mosque (al Haram al Ibrahim) and the Adh-Dahriya old city

FYI: If you would like to join us for only a few, non-consecutive days, the price does not include transportation and hikers will be responsible for getting to the starting point of the hike themselves.  There are various accommodation options along the way: homestays, guesthouses, Bedouin tents and even a cave! These can also be booked through the Siraj Center.
